About the Status of My Application

How will I know if I have submitted all the necessary documentation and fees?

Once you have submitted your application, a status e-mail will be sent to you with your file number and the date your application was received. It is therefore important that you provide us with an e-mail address on the application.

If further information is required, we will contact you by e-mail or by phone.

Can I speak to the evaluator at any time during the processing of my application?

Yes. You can speak to an evaluator while your application is in progress. However, the evaluator's assistant will initially help you with any questions or concerns. In the event that the assistant is unable to answer your query, it will be forwarded to the evaluator.

Will IERF update me on the status of my evaluation?

Yes, we will e-mail you with status updates for your file (e.g., when documents are received, if we need additional documentation, when your evaluation is mailed, etc.). It is therefore important that you provide us with an e-mail address on the application.
