Training Workshops


IERF's mission is to research and disseminate information on world educational systems and to facilitate the integration of individuals educated outside the United States into the U.S. educational environment and workforce. As such, IERF offers country and region-specific training sessions to professionals in international education.

These workshops, intended for professionals in the field of international education (college and university admissions officers, registrars, counselors, evaluators of foreign credentials…), include both a theoretical and practical approach to credentials evaluation. They provide a general outline of the educational system of a specific country or region, as well as a discussion of any recent educational reforms. They also provide individuals with a hands-on opportunity to examine samples of academic records and to identify the level of education represented.
