IERF provides Experiential Reports (combined Academic and Work Experience Reports)
IERF provides Experiential Reports, based on combined academic and professional experience. According to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations, individuals may have a degree equivalency based on a combination of their academic achievement and their significant and broad professional experience, even if they did not complete their studies. Please note that IERF provides an assessment of these experiences for immigration and employment certification only.
Applications must be submitted through either an attorney or employer on behalf of the applicant. (This type of evaluation cannot be used for educational or licensure purposes.) To download an application, please click here.
Change in physical therapy application fee
Effective March 1, 2004 all physical therapy applications will be subject to a fee of $325 for the first state and $50 for each additional state.

Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) is Now Offering Online Filing for Forms I-90 and I-765
Since May 29, 2003, the BCIS has been offering electronic filing for forms I-90 (Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card) and I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization). Individuals who file electronically have the option to store a photograph, signature and fingerprint, which can later be used for verification of the person’s identity.
Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to Transition into the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS)
As of March 1, 2003, various administrative and management functions that were the responsibility of the former INS are now handled by BCIS, a division within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Department of State (DOS) Launches Visa Education Campaign
Increased security measures in U.S. visa procedures prompted the DOS to release a new initiative, "Secure Borders. Open Doors." This action is intended to increase efforts for better communication regarding changes to U.S. visa procedures. Information will be available in several languages with policy updates and detailed instructions, with an emphasis on business, education, and tourist visas.
