Services and Fees for the Application for Nursing Licensure
Evaluation
- Standard Reports and Fees
A file number will be assigned and notification will be sent upon receipt of the application. A minimum of 30-40 business days (from receipt of all necessary documentation) will be necessary to process your file.
- Nursing Evaluation – $280 per application. This report identifies institutions attended, dates of attendance, credential(s) earned and the United States educational equivalent. An evaluation checklist, which identifies subject areas and U.S. semester unit values, is also included.
- Evaluation for Additional Boards – One official board copy and one applicant copy are included in the report fee. Additional board copies requested at the time of application are $35 each.
- Mailing Options
As required by the state boards, the official report will be sent directly to the board(s) identified on the application form. The applicant copy of the report will be mailed to you at the address indicated in Section 1.
- Evaluations – Evaluations are sent by regular mail. Overnight courier service may be requested for an additional fee of $30 (domestic) and $60 (international) per address. Priority Mail (U.S. Postal Service) requires an additional fee of $5.
- Return of Original Documents Submitted by Applicant – Documents are returned via Certified Mail (domestic) for a fee of $5 or Registered Mail (international) for a fee of $20.
- Payments
- Options – Payment in the form of a check, cashier's check, money order or credit card must accompany all applications, payable to IERF. For credit card payment (Visa or MasterCard only), please complete the Credit Card Information form.
- Overseas – Overseas payments must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a United States bank. If payment is being made by a bank draft, an additional $15 processing fee is required.
